Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What makes SureVisit Health different from the calendar built into my EHR?

A: Most EHR calendars are designed for clinical record-keeping, not for conversion. SureVisit Health is built with the same design principles used to power the CVS MinuteClinic platform—focusing on speed, zero-lag, and a mobile-first patient experience. We help you turn site visitors into patients while the Browser Bridge handles the heavy lifting of data entry.

Q: Who is SureVisit Health built for?

A: We designed this specifically for independent health practices that want enterprise-grade performance without the enterprise price tag. Whether you are a solo practitioner or a multi-provider, or multi-location group, our platform scales to your volume without penalizing your growth with per-patient fees.

Q: Does the SureVisit EHR Bridge replace my EHR?

A: No. SureVisit Health works alongside your existing EHR. While your EHR remains your “source of truth” for clinical data, SureVisit handles the patient-facing side of scheduling and the staff-facing side of appointment management.

Q: How does the Browser Bridge work?

A: The browser-based SureVisit EHR Bridge is a lightweight browser extension that acts as a “digital scribe.” When a patient books an appointment via SureVisit Health, the SureVisit EHR Bridge allows your staff to “push” that data directly into your EHR fields with a single click. It eliminates the need to manually retype names, phone numbers, or insurance info, effectively bridging the gap between systems without a costly API integration. In cases where a 1:1 match can’t be made in the EHR, you can click the data in the Bridge and paste it into the EHR field – no typing needed.

Q: Which EHRs does the Bridge support?

A: Because the bridge operates within your browser, it is compatible with web-based EHRs. Once you are a client, we can even build a custom EHR Bridge for your specific EHR at no additional cost to your practice.

Q: Do I have to pay extra for reporting and analytics?

A: No. Unlike other platforms that hide data behind “Pro” tiers, Practice Analytics is a core part of every SureVisit Health plan at zero additional cost.

Q: What kind of insights can I see in the dashboard?

A: Our Practice Analytics dashboard gives you a real-time pulse on your clinic’s health, including:

  • Revenue Protection: Gain instant visibility into cancellations that includes smart surfacing of possible replacement appointments.
  • Staff Efficiency Tracking: See exactly how many manual hours (and dollars) your team has saved by using SureVisit Health – customizable to your staff rates and manual time saved.
  • Growth Trends: Visualize New Bookings Per Day, most popular days for appointments, and appointments by Visit Type, to see exactly when your marketing efforts are paying off or where you need to shift resources.

Q: How much does SureVisit Health cost?

A: We offer transparent, practice-based pricing with no hidden fees. All plans include the Smart Scheduler, the browser EHR Bridge, and Practice Analytics:

  • Solo Practice: $99/mo (1 Provider)
  • Small Group: $199/mo (2–5 Providers)
  • Medium Group: $299/mo (6–10 Providers)
  • Large Group (11+ providers): Contact us for a custom quote.

Q.: Are there per-patient or messaging fees?

A: No. Your price stays the same whether you book 10 appointments or 1,000. Unlimited bookings and unlimited email and SMS notifications are always included in your monthly subscription. We send a strategic series of four notification/reminder emails and two SMS text reminders per appointment and also include notifications as part of rescheduled and canceled appointments.

Q: Is SureVisit Health HIPAA compliant?

A: Yes. Security and HIPAA compliance are part of our foundation. We use HIPAAVault for secure, compliant, hosting as well as HIPAA-compliant encrypted emails through Sinch by Mailgun. We maintain BAAs with both companies as well as with every practice who becomes a SureVisit Health client.

Our SMS reminders do not include any PHI. Nonetheless, we follow industry standards using verified 10DLC messaging and explicit patient opt-in.

Q: Is the SureVisit Health experience accessible?

A: Yes, both our public scheduling experience and practice-level experiences meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards to ensure your scheduling experience is inclusive and legally sound.

Q: How long does it take to get up and running?

A: Depending on your practice size, anywhere from one to three hours. We make it easy with setup resources and our easy-to-follow Setup Wizard that guides you through each step. And if have any questions, you can reach out to us for help.

Q: Can we make feature requests?

A: Yes, and we encourage it. While we have built a lot of features and value into the initial SureVisit Health, we are continuously improving to deliver an even better experience for both patients and health care practices. There is a form available from every Practice Dashboard to submit feature requests. We review submissions every week and work quickly to implement as many new features and feature enhancements as possible.
